Since I was 4 years old, baseball has been in my life. I am proud to say I have been a lifelong New York Yankee fan. The old Syracuse Chiefs in the late 1960's were the AAA farm club in the International League for the Yankees. I saw the great Thurman Munson (my favorite of all time), Ron Guidry and Bobby Cox ( famous Atlanta Braves manager) all play. My parents weren't big sports fans, but my neighbor loved baseball and took me to the games on the weekend at the old MacArthur Stadium. That's where I purchased my first 1969 Yankee Yearbook. That was my prized possession for sometime. I love Spring Training, because another baseball season is ready to start with the possibilities of another great pennant race! GO YANKEES!!!
